2. Principles

This website uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics services, and it does not embed any content from third-party servers. Fonts and images are delivered from our own server.

3. Server log files

When you access the website, our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) automatically processes information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type. The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log data is deleted according to the hosting provider’s standard retention periods and is not combined with other data.

4. Contact and submission forms

If you contact us through a form or submit a domain, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, domain name, asking price, message) solely to handle your inquiry or to review your submission. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request).

Storage period: We delete inquiries and submissions that do not lead to a mandate or a business relationship as soon as storage is no longer necessary for handling them and no retention obligations prevent deletion. Data that leads to a business relationship is subject to the statutory retention periods (§ 257 HGB, German Commercial Code; § 147 AO, German Fiscal Code).

To protect the forms against misuse, the time of submission and the IP address are checked technically and, if automated access is detected, logged (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you use the contact form, you receive an email with a confirmation link; by clicking it you confirm that the inquiry comes from you. To categorize the inquiry, we also evaluate the language setting transmitted by your browser and the country code of a phone number you provide. Each inquiry receives a case number under which the details are stored (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

5. Email communication

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Recipients

Your data is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to perform a contract (e.g. to the contracting parties involved in an escrow transaction) or we are legally obliged to do so.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please use the contact details given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia).
